History of Cinegears

2014

CINEGEARS took part in the NAB 2014 exhibition in Las Vegas, which is the world’s largest show of film and television equipment and electronic media, and it is also the platform for the development of radio and television technology in the world. One of the groundbreaking products from CINEGEARS, the Single Axis Lens Control Kit, had been upgraded with the newest handy design to include a finger option.

2013

The technical team has succeeded in simplifying the multi axis system and developed the single axis kit. The product has attracted a lot of interest with its flexible, simple and convenient operating mode.

2012

CINEGEARS has established a solid foundation for it to step into stereoscopic 3D film production as a motorized feature for stereoscopic 3D rigs. The 3 Axis and 6 Axis systems have been tested and proven as they have contributed to many Chinese film productions.

2011

CINEGEARS was originally founded in Canada, where they designed and published the first generation of professional wired/wireless follow focus control systems. The follow focus system has 3 channels and is now able to drive the lens rings (focus, iris and zoom.)

2010

An RND team, specializing in camera equipment, film production, and post production, working under AIVFX, SFAIMO and DEEP ILLUSION,  have started to build up the professional remote lens control system for stereoscopic 3D film production.
