WARRANTY POLICY & INSTRUCTIONS
Please refer to the product information to see specific warranty durations and terms. Peripheral items (e.g., power cables, mounting brackets) are not covered under warranty.
All warranty service requests must be initiated with the completion of our RMA form found at www.cinegears.com/RMA. After completing the RMA form, a Cinegears associate will contact you within 3 business days with further instructions. Returns must abide by all of the instructions listed on the RMA form, and the auto-generated RMA-form response. Failure to do so may result in your return not being received or processed by our team.
After our team contacts you, take care to pack your return item carefully. Ensure that you use a traceable shipping service, and ensure that you send the tracking information to our team. We can not be responsible for lost packages, or damage incurred during shipping.
Warranty repairs will be addressed in the order received, within the capacity of our technician staff. We can not guarantee a timeframe of repair services prior to our technicians assessing your equipment. Our goal is to repair your equipment within 1-3 weeks. In some cases this may be up to, or exceeding 4 weeks. International warranty repairs may also exceed 1-3 weeks. Our technical staff does not work during national holidays, so this may factor in to repair timeframes as well. Cinegears products are manufactured and/or assembled in the People’s Republic of China. Products sent to Cinegears eligible for repair may be sent to the Cinegears repair facility located at Room 122-123 Eight Cubic Creative Industrial Park A1, Hezhen Street, Lian he Road, Baiyun District. GuangZhou, China 51042. Repairs sent to and/or returned to you from China may be subject to customs/duties fees. These fees are your sole responsibility and Cinegears is not liable for any additional charges incurred by international customs/duties.
NORTH AMERICAN WARRANTY SERVICE
Warranty servicing includes service labor and return shipping cost. If rush return shipping is required, a fee will be charged. Warranty servicing does not include repairing physical damage, or damage caused by routine usage. Upon receiving your equipment, our technician will assess the issue and report if it is covered under warranty or not. This assessment is always free of charge, whether the issue is covered under warranty or not. If the issue is repaired outside of warranty coverage, you will be notified of the cost prior to repair. Repairs not covered by warranty will incur a return shipping fee. Warranty repairs will be addressed in the order received, within the capacity of our technician staff. INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY SERVICE

All items must be clearly marked as being sent for repair services, and not for commerce. Any customs, duties, taxes, or fees otherwise incurred by packages sent to us for any reason will be the sole responsibility of the sender.

This assessment is always free of charge, whether the issue is covered under warranty or not. If the issue is repaired outside of warranty coverage, you will be notified of the cost prior to repair. Repairs not covered by warranty will incur a return shipping fee.

Cine Gears, Inc. (“Cinegears”) warrants the Cinegears hardware (the “Product”), and only the Product, against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). Under this Limited Warranty, if a defect arises and a valid claim is received by Cinegears within the Warranty Period regarding the Product, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, Cinegears will either (1) repair the Product, using new or refurbished replacement parts or (2) exchange the Product with a new or refurbished Product. Please refer to Cinegears’s Terms & Conditions for more information.
Product must be freight prepaid, in its original packaging, to the specified address with proof of purchase to receive warranty service.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
This Limited Warranty applies only to the Product manufactured by or for Cinegears that can be identified by the “Cinegears” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to it. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any (a) Cinegears products and services other than the Product, (b) non-Cinegears hardware product, (c) consumables (such as batteries), or (d) software, even if packaged or sold with the Product or embedded in the Product. Refer to the licenses accompanying the software for details of your rights with respect to its use. Our warranty does not apply to peripheral items that are purchased individually or are included with packages. These items include, but are not limited to, cables, mounting brackets and straps, antennas, and marking disks. Issues with items that are covered by warranty which are due to issues outside of workmanship (e.g., standard wear and tear, physical damage or abuse, liquid contact, fire, power surge, or other outside issue) are not covered by warranty.
This Limited Warranty does not cover the cost of returning the Product to Cinegears; this is your responsibility.
No Cinegears reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Limited Warranty. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired. Please refer to Cinegears’s Terms & Conditions for more information on Limited Warranty.
Cinegears’s obligations under this warranty and the sole remedy for its breach are limited to repair, of any part or parts of its products which prove to be defective; or, in its sole discretion, replacement of such products. All returns of defective parts or products must include the product model number and serial number, and must be made through the RMA form found on the Cinegears website (https://cinegears.com/rma/). Authorized returns must be shipped prepaid. The warranty provided herein does not cover charges for labor or other costs incurred in the troubleshooting, repair, removal, installation, service or handling of parts or complete products.
All claims under the warranty provided herein must be made within thirty (30) days from the date of discovery of the defect. Failure to notify Cinegears of a warranted defect within thirty (30) days of its discovery voids Cinegears’s obligations hereunder.
The warranty provided herein shall be void and of no effect in the event that (a) the product has been operated outside its intended application; (b) the product has been subjected to misuse, neglect, accident, improper or inadequate maintenance, corrosive environments, environments containing airborne contaminants (silicone, aluminum oxide, etc.), or excessive thermal shock; (c) unauthorized modifications are made to the product; (d) the product is not installed or operated in compliance with the manufacturer’s printed instructions; (e) the product is not installed and operated in compliance with applicable building, mechanical, plumbing and electrical codes; or (f) the serial number of the product has been altered, defaced or removed.
You acknowledge that the Product is not fault tolerant and is not designed, manufactured, or intended for use or resale as control equipment in hazardous or high risk environments and activities requiring fail-safe performance (such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control, direct life support machines, or weapons systems) in which the failure of the Product could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage. You agree not to use or allow the use of the Product or any portion thereof for, or in connection with, any such environment or activity.
The warranty provided herein is for repair or replacement only. Cinegears shall not be liable for any loss, cost, damage, or expense of any kind arising out of a breach of the warranty or of the sale. Further, Cinegears shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, exemplary, special, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of revenue, profit or use, arising out of a breach of this warranty or in connection with the sale, delivery, maintenance, use, operation or repair of any Cinegears product. In no event will Cinegears be liable for any amount greater than the purchase price of a defective product. The disclaimers of liability included in this Paragraph shall remain in effect and shall continue to be enforceable in the event that any remedy herein shall fail of its essential purpose. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY FOR CINEGEARS’ PRODUCTS, AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES. CINEGEARS SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. No person or entity is authorized to bind Cinegears’s to any other warranty, obligation or liability for any Cinegears product. Installation, operation or use of the Cinegears product for which this warranty is issued shall constitute acceptance of the terms hereof.
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE OF THIS AGREEMENT.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
·REPAIR OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
Warranty repair services shall be provided at any of Cinegears’ authorised repair facilities. Cinegears shall within two weeks of receipt of returned products provide a report to the original owner/user (“USER”) detailing those products accepted under warranty and any that are not accepted under warranty due to physical damage or improper use. Cinegears will use its best efforts to repair defective products as quickly as possible with “turnaround time” (time for repair after receipt of units) to be six (6) weeks or less from receipt at the Cinegears facility. Shipment of the repaired or replaced warranted products to USER’s location shall be at the expense of Cinegears. Shipment of the repaired or replaced non-warranted products to USER’s location shall be at the expense of USER. For non-warranted repairs, Cinegears shall report to USER an estimated time to repair failed units, and shall not proceed with repairs until such time that USER has provided approval for said repairs. For problems due to incorrect use of the Product, or factors external to the Product, or repairs for unwarranted units, Cinegears shall repair at a separate cost borne be USER, at a billing rate of $150 per hour. Cinegears shall repair or exchange, and ship to USER, the returned Product within six (6) weeks of receipt of Product by Cinegears.
RETURN POLICY AND INSTRUCTIONS
For product(s) purchased (the “Product”) directly from Cinegears’ website (www.cinegears.com), this return policy allows you to return the Product after obtaining an Cinegears return material authorization (“RMA”) during the 14 day period following date of receipt of the Product. If the item is returned in its original condition, unused, and in the original packaging in accordance with this policy, we will exchange it or offer a refund of the purchase price paid. The refund will be made by crediting the account used to make the original purchase. To begin the return process, obtain an RMA number by completing the form found at www.cinegears.com/RMA. After completing the RMA form, a Cinegears associate will contact you within 3 business days with further instructions. Returns must abide by all of the instructions listed on the RMA form, and the auto-generated RMA-form response. Failure to do so may result in your return not being received or processed by our team. After our team contacts you, take care to pack your return item carefully. Ensure that you use a traceable shipping service, and ensure that you send the tracking information to our team. We can not be responsible for lost packages, or damage incurred during shipping. The Product must be received by Cinegears within 10 days after issuance of the RMA. After the 14-day return period has ended, products may only be returned for warranty servicing.
If the item is returned in damaged physical condition, Cine Gears inc. reserves the right to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee. All returned items must be in new condition, in their original packaging, and must include all packing material, accessories, and manuals. Cine Gears inc. can only refund a maximum of the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
RETURN DUE TO FAILURE TO RECEIVE
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable based on the shipping information provided by the customer, all associated fees are the responsibility of the customer. If payment is refused by the customer, Cine Gears inc. reserves the right to withhold the value of the fees incurred from the original purchase price of the order. The order may be re-sent to the customer once the fees have been collected, along with additional shipping costs.
REFUNDS & CREDITS
Once we receive and inspect returned equipment, we will issue the allotted refund via the method of original payment. This may take up to 10 business days. Payment may be made in a method different from original payment if requested, but any fees associated with doing so are the responsibility of the customer.
Cine Gears inc. is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise. Cine Gears inc. is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale, use, or return of any merchandise bought from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only. Also, claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within two days of receipt of merchandise and substantiated with visual evidence.
If you purchase the Cinegears product from other retailers or distributors other than Cinegears.com, please follow their Return Policy.
All Products must be packed in the original, unopened and unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation, and registration that shipped with the Product. The RMA number must be included with the returned Product.
Shipping and handling charges, and taxes paid (e.g., state, customs, VAT) are non-refundable. You are responsible for and must prepay all shipping charges and you shall assume all risk of loss or damage to the Product while in transit to Cinegears. If you return the Product to Cinegears (a) without a RMA, (b) beyond the 10 days RMA issuance period, or (c) without proper packaging, Cinegears retains the right to either refuse delivery of such return or charge you a restocking fee. The time to credit your account may vary, depending on processing time.
