Job Responsibilities:

  1. Promote and secure product sales with existing customers in BC and across Canada; maximize sales opportunities with every current and potential customer by using selling techniques, educate customers on current products & use.
  2. Generate or exceed the required rate of sales activities with new customers by assessing customer needs, providing technical sales support in specifications and customized product design, and assisting in product & service selection.
  3. Conduct reviews of sales proposals, identify opportunities and solutions, negotiate sales contract terms and prices.
  4. Deliver sales presentations, follow up on sales leads(including cool calls), respond to customer inquiries over the phone, through email and in-person visit; expedite the resolution of customer concerns and escalate to management when appropriate.
  5. Identify key targeted groups, allocate sufficient time and resources to these targets to develop a sales/marketing plan and maximize sales.
  6. Liaise with the development team, vendors and key stakeholders regarding technical questions, pricing, customized product designing, testing, quality assurance, etc.
  7. Maintain communication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure complete, timely and accurate service delivery with every key customer and order.
  8. Accurate and timely completion of all documentation and keep track of sales & targets using the CRM database for current and potential customers
  9. Identify and communicate suggestions for improvements in all areas of business, including technical troubleshooting, marketing plans and sales strategies, competitor activities.

 

 

Job Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, computer science/engineering, or wireless technology is required.
  2. 3 years of technical sales working experience in a relative industry is required.
  3. Experience in the film industry or knowledge of photography equipment will be an asset.
  4. Demonstrate a track record of exceeding targets continually by selling solutions to build strong customer relationships, yield customer loyalty and repeat sales.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills and effective presentation skills.
  6. Enjoy customer interactions, building relationships and solving their problems.
  7. Open-minded with a passion for learning a wide-range of electronic/transmission technology.
  8. Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to guide customers to the right products/solutions.
